Dave Anderson was raised on a farm near Summit, South Dakota.  He was introduced to jokes and humor by his father, Glen.

Living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he raised his Daughter and Son, he started delivering pizza.  Offering a joke to his customers, he started to create his own jokes.  In response to customer suggestions, he is writing and publishing joke books.
